At the Rising Church, we believe God has charged us to "Go", as in Matthew 28:18-20 and Mark 16:15-20. Even to places no one has gone before, or has wanted to go.
Our hearts are to reach the lost, through the love of Christ Jesus. To not just foster a "fast food" mentality, but healthy bodies, healthy minds and healthy souls, because healthy things grow. We continue to do this by using basic tools like, food, education and medical aid, to show Christs' love and that he has a greater purpose for each individual. We have seen the continued impact short-term missions are making in areas all over Haiti and Belize. Our prayer is, for God to expand our borders even further for His glory.
We feel it is our calling to awaken and challenge this generation, locally and internationally, for such a time as this. Just as Esther went before the king to save her people, the calling is even greater to this generation, the generation that will welcome back Christ Jesus.
Here at the Rising Church, we are eternity focused, and feel it is our privilege and responsibility, to reach this world with what we have so freely recieved.
